Chriss and Raptors forward Serge Ibaka were ejected late in the third quarter as Cleveland hosted Toronto.

In announcing the suspension, the league said that Ibaka's discipline was "based on his instigation of the physical altercation, throwing a punch at Chriss, and his prior history of fighting during National Basketball Association games" and that Chriss' punishment "was based on throwing a punch at Ibaka".

Ibaka was battling Chriss for positioning to receive a full-court pass with one second remaining in the quarter. "We don't want that". McCaw appeared in three games with the Cavaliers earlier this season.

"I just saw some stuff building up. An altercation happened very fast". "It was broken up quick and that's usually how it goes".

Chriss will serve his suspension Tuesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
