He was subsequently arrested and charged with robbery/strong-arm and criminal mischief over $1,000.

According to police records, McGregor was booked into custody around 7 p.m. Monday night on charges of felony robbery/strongarm and felony criminal mischief.

UFC star Conor McGregor was arrested Monday in Miami after allegedly destroying a fan's phone in South Beach, according to a police report.

The incident is believed to have happened around 5:00 AM when the fan was photographing McGregor outside of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. When the fan tried taking a photo with his cell, McGregor "slapped" the phone out of his hand, then stomped on it several times, the report said.

TMZ reported it appeared McGregor went to the Miami home where he was staying, while the alleged victim subsequently filed a police report.

This is McGregor's second arrest in less than a year after last April's attack that saw him hurl a guardrail, dolly and chairs at a bus at the Barclay's Center in NY during UFC 223 media day. In October 2018, Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor at UFC 229.
