TRUMP RESPONDS: The President Blasts 'Disgraceful' Democrats as the 'Anti-Jewish Party'

"The Democrats have become an anti-Israel party, they've become an anti-Jewish party", Trump said Friday.

"I thought yesterday's vote by the House was disgraceful", Trump told reporters at the White House.

On Thursday, the House passed the broadened resolution which condemns "antisemitism, Islamophobia, racism, and other forms of bigotry", after freshman members and the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) accused their leadership of unfairly targeting Ilhan Omar, a representative from Minnesota, over her recent comments accusing Israel advocates of dual loyalties.

On Thursday, the US House passed a resolution originally meant to deliver a direct rebuke of anti-Semitism following comments by Omar. I think we deserved it.

I don't think she's a bigot but, as with other sensitive topics, its not hard to sound like one when you make strong criticisms in such touchy areas as US policy toward Israel.

When House members debated the resolution, Omar's defenders argued that she was being singled out. She also wrote that United States support for Israel was "all about the Benjamins baby" and implied that Jewish organizations like AIPAC have bribed American lawmakers.

James got emotional on the sideline after passing Jordan , but quickly had to get back to chipping away at a double-digit deficit. James now trails only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387 points), Karl Malone (36,928) and Kobe Bryant (33,643).

"The change that is happening in the Democratic party is something that started with the recent elections that brought Ilhan Omar and others - young, progressive, and pushing for new ideas", US-Palestinian journalist Ramzy Baroud told RT. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Andre Carson (D-IN) praising the passage of the resolution.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she did not believe Omar's remarks were meant to be anti-Semitic.

Of course, Nancy Pelosi was appropriately, but unconvincingly, shocked by the comment, while at the same time defending and criticizing Ms. Omar as a bumbling fool for not being able to predict the hurt her remarks would cause other people. Last week, Pelosi was mugging on the cover of the celebratory issue of Rolling Stone with Omar and her bestie, apologist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The frustration on the Republican side was more that you watered down the amendment. The remark drew condemnation from several influential House Democrats. "Our nation is having a hard conversation".

"Let's be honest, we are here today because of rhetoric said by one member or this chamber, again and again and again", said Rep. He pointed to the House resolution earlier this year that condemned white supremacy and referenced remarks from Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), who questioned why terms like "white supremacist" were offensive. And with this power, she chose to place a doltish hater of Jews, someone with radical positions and absolutely no relevant experience, on the House Foreign Affairs Committee to appease the growing anti-Israel contingent in her party.

"What I think many of my colleagues were doing in voting against it was lodging they're being upset about (the fact) that this was watered down; it wasn't narrow".
