Galaxy's Edge will open at Disneyland on May 31st and at Walt Disney World on August 29th. Though both rides might not be open when the park opens.

On "Rise of Resistance", the other major ticketed ride, guests will participate in a battle between the First Order - the government formed in the aftermath of the fall of the Galactic Empire in "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" - and the Resistance.

Disney claims the two, 14-acre lands are the largest and most technologically advanced single-themed land expansions ever in a Disney park. Today, the official Disney Parks blog revealed the California-based attraction would open May 31 while the Florida-based one wouldn't open its proverbial doors until August 29. The land will not be included in Extra Magic Hour or Magic Morning at Disneyland.

Phase two of the massive fully-immersive land, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, will be opening later this year.

Tesla will upgrade Superchargers to faster V3
The company advertises the rate as "1,000 miles per hour", meaning it is capable of adding 1,000 miles of range in just one hour. Tesla estimates that V3's upgrades will reduce typical charging times to around 15 minutes.

At the Milk Stand, guests can order their very own farm-fresh blue milk or green milk, direct from Bubo Wamba Family Farms, a classic beverage served throughout "Star Wars" films. But the company warned that it expects demand to be high and that Hollywood Studios will stop admitting visitors any time it reaches capacity. In "Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run", guests will have the opportunity to fly the Millennium Falcon, piloting the ship, shooting blasters or preparing for hyperspace - all while completing a critical mission.

Star Wars: Galaxy Edge was all made possible through Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm, a company founded by George Lucas that houses the Star Wars franchise, in October 2012. "Information on how to make a reservation will be available at a later date", it said. There will also be the chance to fly the Millennium Falcon, interact with droids and creatures in the shops and cantina and hear new music from Star Wars composer John Williams.

An early illustration from Disney Parks/Lucasfilm shows what its Star Wars-themed land, titled Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, would potentially look like.
