Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez joins protest outside White House, calls for TPS amnesty

Last week, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unveiled her long-awaited "Green New Deal", a plan aimed at drastically reducing carbon emissions in the next ten years. These immigrants have been in limbo since President Donald Trump ended TPS designation for a handful of countries in 2018.

He said Ocasio-Cortez does not support some of the more outlandish left-wing proposals, which were saved before they were taken off her website.

Ocasio-Cortez's chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, said the office mistakenly published a gaffe-riddled FAQ that didn't match the Green New Deal's legislative text, the Daily Caller reported. Earlier in his speech, he'd suggested the deal would mean "you're not allowed to own cows anymore".

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), a key player in the border negotiations, sounded upbeat about the bipartisan compromise brokered Monday night, calling it "certainly good news". Co-sponsors in the Senate include 2020 contenders such as California Senator Kamala Harris, New Jersey Senator Corey Booker, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. The initiative has the backing of nearly all the Democrats declared as candidates seeking for the party's nomination in the 2020 presidential election.

Ireland grind down Scotland to win at Murrayfield
That gave Scotland a 5m lineout, but Peter O'Mahony got up and slapped the ball back and Rory Best put it down. He got a cumulative knock after the first knock.

Robert Hockett, an advisor to Ocasio-Cortez, even went on Tucker Carlson to further push the lie that the document claiming the Green New Deal would pay people who are "unwilling" to work was not from her team.

But others aren't as ready to make a decision one way or the other.

Ocasio-Cortez herself also acknowledged that an FAQ "got uploaded + taken down", without explaining or providing additional detail.

The goal is to transition the US economy away from burning fossil fuels and emitting greenhouse gasses blamed for climate change, rising sea levels and severe storms. "I'm not going to analyze every bill that some people with a lot of big ideas are proposing".
