"Very Good Chance" Ronda Rousey Finishes With WWE At WrestleMania

Ronda Rousey has always been vocal about her desire to step away from WWE to have a baby with her husband at some point. Those rumblings are apparently premature, however. This means that Rousey is not leaving WWE anytime soon.

WWE said in a statement that "Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until 4/10/2021". She has won the Women's Championship and is now the top woman on the roster.

That report was disputed by TMZ, which claimed Rousey doesn't plan to end her professional wrestling career just yet. Along with her world-class athleticism as a former bronze Olympic medalist in judo, the crispness of her move set remain unique to any WWE superstar, male or female.

Meltzer has previously reported that Rousey is expected to face Becky Lynch in the main event at this year's WrestleMania, with Charlotte Flair possibly also involved.

Rousey will defend her Raw women's championship on Sunday against Sasha Banks at the Royal Rumble.

In a tearful statement on a video she posted on YouTube on November 22 past year, she acknowledging struggling with this choice.

Chelsea boss Sarri hails Emerson for Cup triumph: You're staying!
Sarri, 60, managed 17 Italian teams - mostly smaller clubs - before an impressive, albeit trophy-less, three seasons with Napoli. I was really very happy with the performance".

Rousey's move from the UFC to the WWE in 2018 shocked the MMA world even though she swore that she was serious about getting into wrestling. "I've never had a baby before, I don't know these kinds of things".

It's a strong quote, but Rousey isn't new to making headlines with her actions or words. "I can't wrestle forever because I'd feel like I'm failing my family".

"I've not kept it a secret that I would definitely want to start a family", Rousey told ESPN.

"I wouldn't be leaving home unless it was to do the most fantastic things ever and I really really do enjoy it and love it", she continued. "First time he's been on the road for WWE in quite some time and he is scheduled to be there at the Rumble and, I am told at the TV's so he may return in some way, shape or form this coming week".

Meltzer clarified that Ronda is under a 3-year contract with the company, but as a full-time performer she is likely done after Wrestlemania.
