Reward For Arrest Of Jazmine Barnes' Killer Increases To $100K

In Texas, a manhunt is underway for the killer of Jazmine Barnes, a 7-year-old African-American girl gunned down while in a auto with her mother and three of her sisters.

"When I see Jazmine Barnes' face, I see my own daughter", Hopkins posted on Instagram.

According to CNN, Houston Texan Wide-Receiver Deandre Hopkins will give his entire playoff check to her family for funeral expenses.

The Texans host the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday at NRG Stadium in Houston in an AFC Wild Card playoff game.

Jazmine Barnes was in the back seat of her family's auto with her three siblings and mother when the driver of a red pickup truck pulled alongside the vehicle and fired inside, killing her on Sunday December 30. Jazmine's mom, Laporsha Washington, was also injured.

The sketch was compiled from descriptions given by Jazmine's mother and three sisters, who also were in the auto.

But Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said at a news conference that additional information received by investigators made them realize the suspect had more of a "five o'clock shadow". "You know like you're driving and you just look into somebody's auto and make eye contact and look back", Alxis said of seeing the gunman.

New Brazil President Bolsonaro takes aim at crime, corruption
US President Donald Trump congratulated his Brazilian counterpart via Twitter on a "great inauguration speech". Bolsonaro is now hosting world leaders ahead of his inauguration, which will be held this week.

Authorities are searching for a white, bearded man who was driving a red, four-door pickup captured on surveillance video shortly before the shooting in the eastern outskirts of Houston. "It could have been anybody in that position on this team.anybody in this city. It's unfortunate", Hopkins told ABC affiliate station KTRK-TV in Houston. She said she didn't have tinted windows, and the gunman could see "a black mother with four attractive children, girls, in this auto".

"We're not going to rest until there is justice for Jazmine", Gonzalez said. "So we are thoroughly convinced that the killing of Jazmine Barnes was race related". No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, and Williams and local civil rights activists have been critical of the Harris County Sheriff's Office's investigation of that case.

Jazmine would have turned eight years old next month.

Campaigners fear the shooting, on an African-American family by a white male, may have been a hate crime.

"We didn't do anything wrong to this man", Washington said.

Authorities on Thursday also released a short video of what they believe is the red truck the suspect drove.

Christopher Cevilla, Jazmine's father, said that he is confident his daughter's killer will be brought to justice, and he won't allow the case to go cold.
