Gaga impressed fans with Enigma concert debut

The timing of her Enigma residency grand opening Friday night, just days before New Year's Eve, was another quintessential Gaga move.

Live Nation Las Vegas president Kurt Melien went onto reveal how the hype surrounding residencies is a generally new phenomenon.

At the beginning of the show, Gaga descends from the ceiling playing a keytar.

During the show, Gaga also spoke to a majority of the audience and to a benevolent artificial intelligence graphic on the oversized screens, something she called both the "simulation" and her "enigma". Her fans can be heard encouraging her to continue.
