The latest tweet from ESPN Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski indicates Dekker may now be headed to the Washington Wizards.

Cleveland is reportedly trading George Hill and Sam Dekker for Matthew Dellavedova and John Henson, as well as protected first and second round draft picks for the 2021 season.

It's a win-win situation for all three teams as the Bucks look to solidify themselves as an elite team in the Eastern Conference, the Cavs continue to rebuild and the Wizards add the 3-point threat that they've lacked all season.

Hill helped the Cavs reach the Finals last season, but the team wanted to unload his big contract while giving rookie Collin Sexton more playing time.

"Everybody said he's a real good guy, a real good locker-room guy", he said. Dellavedova, 28, has been limited to 12 games this season due to an ankle injury and is averaging a career-low 1.7 points. "They say he practices hard, too, so we're going to have some battles". Furthermore, they acquire a steady point guard in Hill, who has started for deep playoff teams in the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs over the course of his 11-year National Basketball Association career.

Henson recently underwent surgery to fix a torn ligament in his left wrist. The defensive-minded point guard brings with him career averages of 5.8 points and 3.7 assists per game. He's played for the Cavs, Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets.

The Cavaliers are among the worst teams in the league this season following LeBron James' move to the LA Lakers and the loss or trade of several other veteran stars, so Dellavedova's return would be a boost for fans who enjoyed his hustle and tireless work after rising from an un-drafted free agent in 2013 to making their roster. Dekker's short stint in Cleveland ends after nine games, where he averaged 6.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest. "We wish Jason the best moving forward and appreciate the value he brought to our team as a great teammate and true professional".
