It's not exactly an uplifting motivational storyline as the game focuses on Skarn, Herald of Terror, collecting individual parts of the destroyed Worldstone to try and resurrect Diablo.

Pre-registration links are already live at Google Play, and the game's listing confirms the game's inclusion of six familiar-sounding character classes (Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard) who can join forces in online co-op dungeon-crawling.

Titled "Diablo Immortal", the game's background story sets it in the time between its PC counterparts "Diablo II" and "Diablo III". Anyone who logs into Battle.net on or before November 18 can claim the game's vanilla version at this site and keep it for free.

The Diablo team took to the stage yesterday at BlizzCon 2018 to answer fan questions, though none were centered on the controversy that the announcement of the mobile-only game has created since Friday.

Each class will also get its own Rare minion that's a 0/3 with stealth for one turn and powerful passive abilities.
