Royal Wedding Redux: This Time It's Princess Eugenie

The royals will soon revisit the memories of their royal wedding as they witness Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank exchange their vows and tie the knot on October 12 at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Windsor castle was also the venue for Harry and Meghan's wedding in May, and Eugenie, ninth-in-line to the throne, has copied much of her cousin's blueprint for her big day.

Stars from the world of showbusiness and sport attended Harry's wedding and Buckingham Palace announced that one of Eugenie's bridesmaids will be Theodora Williams, the six-year-old daughter of pop star Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field.

Britain's Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank leave Windsor Castle a day ahead of their wedding in Windsor, Britain, on Thu., Oct. 11, 2018. Eugenie's older sister Beatrice, 30, will be her maid of honour.

Once married, Princess Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank will be taken on a short carriage procession along part of Windsor High Street.

But a spokeswoman for the council said that in terms of crowd numbers and associated stewarding and policing costs, it expected Harry's and Eugenie's nuptials to be "two very different weddings on two very different scales".

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will once again take on pageboy and bridesmaid roles.

But there are some differences from Harry and Meghan's wedding.

And similar to Harry and Meghan, Eugenie and her fiancé will invite 1,200 members of the public to the castle grounds for a better view of Friday's festivities.
