The three-night crossover kicks off with "The Flash" on December 5, but a spinoff series starring Rose has already been eyed by the network with a potential premiere date in 2019.

The picture shows Rose striding forward in a black and red bodysuit with a cape and mask. The costume was designed by award-winning designer Colleen Atwood who is responsible for several other major costumes in the Arrowverse.

The CW debuted Ruby Rose's Batwoman costume, and it was as fierce as expected. As you can see the costuming is both in line with the Arrowverse designs and her comic book look, keeping the red detailing while rolling in a less spandexy cloth.

The reveal of Kate Kane's new suit coincides with the crossover starting production today in Vancouver. "But don't call her a hero yet". If everything goes according to plan, Rose will also headline her own Batwoman series as the network is now developing a stand-alone series around the character, too. Fans objected to Rose playing Batwoman, who will be openly gay in the crossover, despite the actress being lesbian.

The three-night DC crossover event kicks off with "The Flash" on Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by "Arrow" on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and "Supergirl" on Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Berlanti also spoke out against some of the backlash Rose was met with when she was cast in the part. I came out at 12? I like the little touches here, though.
