Top it all off, Google and OnePlus are scheduled to reveal their new flagship smartphones this month and this makes it almost impossible for other companies to step in and steal some of the spotlight for them. The dual front camera has an 8-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The camera software has an on-screen slider to adjust the amount of background blur. The 107-degree super wide-angle lens captures subjects with more of the background easily, while the telephoto with 2x optical zoom (or 3.2x the zoom of the wide-angle lens) takes clear shots from distance without a loss in image quality. It features LG's AI Cam too, which uses artificial intelligence to deliver the best shot possible, something the V40 also offers. It is also upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie). The LG V40 ThinQ comes with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE.

The design of the V40 ThinQ is something that LG is proud of, with the company touting its "Silky Blast" process.
