In theory, the Fortnite Shadow Stones are supposed to make you invisible for a short time, allowing you to stealthily approach your enemies. While in this form, players have increased movement, higher jumps, and are immune to fall damage. It is highly likely that they will not be a part of the combat and will have to be unlocked using Battle Pass. Pick one up and you'll instantly gain some powerful new abilities for about 45 seconds or so.

Impulse grenades, the silenced submachine gun, the light machine gun, bouncer pads, and remote explosives have all been vaulted. The Grappler wires have been reduced from 15 to 10. Epic rarity has been reduced from 143 to 114, while Legendary has been reduced from 150 down to 120. A few places on the map have been completely changed, while the Fortnite developer released some subtle changes for some of them. The addition of pets will probably be particularly exciting for the Battle Pass faithful, and we're definitely interested in seeing the new pets Epic rolls out in future seasons.
