Timberwolves' asking price for Jimmy Butler 'too steep'

Woj has been all over this Jimmy Butler frenzy and we can't thank him and hate him enough for it. He was traded to the Timberwolves before last season. According to the New York Times, "Jimmy Butler and his agent Bernie Lee have informed Wolves ownership that Miami is Butler's preferred trade destination, league sources say".

"Along with Butler, Miami had been willing to accept Gorgui Dieng and the remaining $48 million left on his contract under the right circumstances", ESPN reported. Although Miami has stepped forward as the front runner for Butler, there was a time last week that the Clippers were seen as the favorite to land the All-Star. Of the teams reportedly still targeting Butler are the Cavs, as well as the Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets, with a handful of teams having also gauged interest with Minnesota regarding a possible deal.

That said, what the Timberwolves would likely ask for from the Celtics - any of their All-Stars or Jayson Tatum - would be too much for Ainge to sign off on a deal.

Calamity is a progressive skin, which means that you'll be able to unlock new components to it as you play through the season. These are the most noticeable map differences, but Epic has made a few smaller changes that have been discovered by fans.

"Our reality is that he has requested a trade, so we'll honor that", said Timberwolves head coach and president of basketball operations Tom Thibodeau. Many do understand why he's asking for a significant return on Butler instead of moving him out quickly in a deal.

Minnesota shipped several of its' young assets to Chicago - Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine and the draft pick that became Lauri Markkanen - to acquire Butler.

All trades have gone through the ESPN trade machine and contractually work out evenly.
