After making considerable space in smartphone segment with OnePlus smartphones, China based OnePlus has revealed its plans to come out with Smart TV which will be known as OnePlus TV. Just like smartphones, OnePlus is also asking for feedback and suggestions from the users and for starters, it is asking people to name their TV.

Instead, Lau argues that the company has become an expert in the field of "intelligent connectivity", as well as premium design, which makes it well-positioned to move into the hotly contested arena of home entertainment. The team will also choose 10 favorites from OnePlus China and it will announce the grand-prize victor on December 17. However, as of now, there's no clarity on that.

He further said that in the next five years, technologies like 5G and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will offer more opportunities to improve the live.
