Nvidia jumps after announcing its next generation of GeForce graphics cards (NVDA)

Gamers will be able to see reflections of things like explosions that aren't even happening on screen. Upcoming games with ray tracing include Battlefield V, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Metro Exodus, Control, Assetto Corsa Competizione and more. They are based on its recently launched chip blueprint called "Turing", which Nvidia is also using for higher-priced chips announced last week for game designers, movie makers and other computer graphics professionals. It also has a 185W TDP rating.

World-Class Power and Storage: Stay immersed with astonishing visuals supplied by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, powered by the all-new NVIDIA Turing architecture to give you incredible new levels of gaming realism, speed and immersion.

In terms of the lightning, the new RTX 2080 cards can provide up to 10 Giga Rays of lighting for ray tracing. Both have 11GB of GDDR6 memory on a 352-bit bus, but TDP ratings of 215W and 250W respectively.

Despite the growing uncertainty surrounding Ramsey, ESPN reported that manager Unai Emery is confident he will stay at the club. For Smith Rowe to score is very good for him and the team.

"The NVIDIA RTX platform and GeForce RTX 20-series GPUs bring real-time ray tracing to games 10 years sooner than anyone could have ever imagined", said Tony Tamasi, senior vice president of Content and Technology at NVIDIA, in a release so fresh the virtual ink is still wet.

If that's a bit rich for you - and you'll likely need a 4K, 120hz monitor to make the most of it in many games - there's also the GTX 2080 which features 8GB of GDDR6 RAM and other slightly reduced specs and thh GTX 2070 - a weaker still card but still one that outstrips nearly everything on the market right now. The GeForce RTX 2070 will follow in October.

Three news cards using the Turing GPU have been confirmed along with a selection of performance numbers, starting prices, and availability. Do note that these pricings are meant for NVIDIA's own Founders Edition cards and naturally, pricing for custom cards from manufacturers will be different from one model to another. Again, however, keep in mind that you might not get all those benefits if the game isn't designed for RTX. Huang promised that the cards will run whisper-quiet even when fully stressed and overclocked. These feature a factory overclock, dual 13-blade axial fans, full-card vapor chamber, diecast aluminum cover, and DisplayPort 1.4a with 8K HDR at 60Hz support over a single connector.
