The Fortnite Beta is now exclusively available on Samsung Galaxy, from the S7 on up, and can be downloaded from the Galaxy App Store. The Samsung Note 9 is set to be unveiled on August 9, before the phone reaches pre-order customers and early adopters in the subsequent couple of weeks. Thankfully, Samsung hasn't killed the headphone jack so you can still plug in your favourite headphones.

SAMSUNG HAS SURPRISED no one with the unveiling of the Galaxy Note 9, which is exactly what you were expecting it to be. The Android beta is now taking place, with a full release planned for later this summer. If you find it hard telling the two apart, just keep in mind that the one on the right (or the one that's silver) is the Galaxy Watch. No photo editing necessary.

This stylus-equipped device, which follows the Note 8 from previous year and the explosive (quite literally) Note 7 before that, arrives with some key differences that sets it apart from its predecessor, including a new processor, an improved and manual dual aperture rear camera, bolstered battery life, repositioned fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers tuned by AKG, and, surprisingly, a body that's bigger. It then enhances saturation, white balance, brightness and contrast depending on the setting.

On T-Mobile, the Galaxy Note 9 will be available in Ocean Blue and Lavender Purple color options. After the picture is taken, a notification identifies the problem, so you can snap it again. It has wireless charging technology built in, so it can be charged with the new wireless charging pad that Samsung announced along with the Note9. Longer battery often ranks high up on consumers'wish lists.

The mostly matte metal frame also gets a diamond cut treatment, so you'll see a shiny metal finish at the surrounding area where the metal meets the glass. The subsequent recall cost the company over $5 billion.

While the Galaxy Note 9 may look similar to last year's Galaxy Note 8, it's gotten several notable updates over its predecessor. The dual-camera setup is still placed horizontally and it comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted right below it. If that's not enough, there's a 8GB RAM + 512GB storage version and you can load it up to 1TB of storage by inserting a 512GB microSD card. Users can choose between 128GB or 512GB.

There are fears the death toll will keep rising as rescuers step up the search of damaged or destroyed homes, schools and mosques. Just days earlier, on July 29, another deadly natural disaster , this one a magnitude 6.4, hit the same area.

The product line's signature S Pen has also been given a huge upgrade. The Copper color option might not be available to USA markets.

"Now, we've also found strings and code that suggest the app will use Samsung's in-App Purchase SDK, contained within Samsung's app store called Samsung Galaxy Apps, to handle payments".

Since the current expectation is for Apple's highest-end OLED device to have an even larger screen than the Note 9, perhaps Apple could have a $1,299 or even higher price for a 512 GB storage version.

At that point, the Note 9 could become their media streaming device and their gaming console, too - that's quite a lot of use out of a phone at $999/£899 to start.
