Despite this, employees in customer-facing jobs find themselves subject to regular abuse from individuals demanding refunds/threatening to tell the manager/refusing to pay because they don't think the staff have done a good enough job.

Nail salon workers got involved in a nasty fight with two of their customers when one of the customers refused to pay for eyebrow work that wasn't up to scratch.

In the clip, a woman in a black top is being pushed around by the Asian staff of the salon. On Monday, people gathered to protest the salon and demanded it be shut down.

"I'm not trying to die on my bday or go to jail", she wrote.

The crazed worker then starts beating the customer with a broomstick as she tries to calm the situation. Thomas says that when she refused to pay for the eyebrow job that she thought was done poorly, an argument ensued and escalated. Both she and the salon's owners agree that she wasn't happy with how the eyebrow wax turned out.

"They viciously attacked the grandmother and the granddaughter, beat them with sticks as if they were animals and threw acetone on them", said community activist Anthony Beckford. According News12, Hiuyue Zheng is facing charges of assault, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon.

The Facebook and Yelp pages for New Red Apple Nail have been flooded with angry comments. Police escorted workers out of the establishment for their safety, the Post reports. They also claim one protester screamed, "where is ICE?" One sign read "Black $$$ Matter".

Similar comments appeared on a livestream of the protests taking place outside the salon.
