Campbell warns Arsenal boss Emery of frantic Premier League

The Nigeria global should have a substantial role to play this season, given Arsenal's lack of natural wingers.

It would require only a "miracle" for Arsenal to win the 2018-19 English Premier League title, according to African legend Nwankwo Kanu.

Arsenal finished sixth last campaign, in what was Arsene Wenger's last season at the helm after 22 years.

So far this summer the north London club have been active in recruiting personnel, but they've not made any attacking signings, which doesn't concern Emery as he's comfortable with his striking options.

But Kanu expects them to stage a challenge and win a silverware, though a league title looks elusive. It indicates the scale of Emery's task in a season when Arsenal are again burdened with the Europa League and at a point when they can not be the biggest spenders.

The France worldwide joined Arsenal for a club record fee a year ago but had an underwhelming campaign, scoring 17 goals in 39 appearances across all competitions, leading to criticism from a section of pundits and fans.

Lombok natural disaster : More than 500 hikers evacuated from Mt Rinjani
On Sunday, the Foreign Affairs Ministry confirmed that one Malaysian died and six others were injured from the natural disaster . The stranded hikers were thought to include citizens from the United States, France, the Netherlands, Thailand , among others.

Aubameyang and Lacazette had to wait for their first start together following the former's arrival from Borussia Dortmund on the final day of the January transfer window.

But judging on pre-season and the fact that Emery's side don't have Champions League football to contend with, they could be dark horses in the title race.

The midfielder had less than two years on his previous contract with the Gunners.

Team spirit is important to both players and they are eager to make their partnership work.

All their star-attackers - Lacazette, Ozil, Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan can start together in a 4-2-3-1 formation with the Gabonese global operating on the left wing.

"I am not this young boy any more as I have been in the Premier League for three seasons now, so the expectations are always going to grow the older you get".
