Donald Trump Echoes Rudy Giuliani: 'Collusion Is Not A Crime'

President Donald Trump has spent more than a year deflecting accusations that his 2016 campaign colluded with Russian Federation to win-but his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, employed a new tactic on Monday by declaring he's not sure if collusion with a foreign power during a USA presidential campaign is a crime.

Mueller might decide, for example, that a crime was committed if he finds evidence that an American was involved in the hack of Democrats, either by soliciting it or paying someone to do it.

While the main areas of Mueller's investigation are Russia's actions during the 2016 presidential election and any attempts by Trump to obstruct justice, none of those topics are expected to come up in Manafort's trial.

The former Mayor of NY and US President Donald Trump's lawyer threatened to leave the CNN interview after he claimed he was "useless, petty and silly".

Following the lead of his lawyers, President Donald Trump on Tuesday said collusion "is not a crime".

US President Donald Trump took to Twitter to say that collusion isn't a crime, and that he never colluded with anyone.

Giuliani: "I don't even know if that's a crime, colluding about Russians".

Giuliani's on CNN saying that Mueller's "conflicts" pollute his ability to run the Trump-Russia probe-but *won't describe* Mueller's exact conflicts.

President Trump has repeatedly denied any accusations of collusion, and has branded the Mueller investigation a politically motivated "Witch Hunt", started by his political opponents on a false premise.

Russian Federation has denied the finding of United States intelligence agencies past year that it interfered to sway the election to Trump.

Asked if he thought that Trump would be subpoenaed and a constitutional fight would ensue, Giuliani said, "Well then there'd be a constitutional fight". Instead of clarity, he parroted back the increasingly common refrain of "collusion is not illegal!". "There's not a single stitch of evidence of collusion.and the obstruction thing is insane".

"I'm happy to tell Mueller that Trump wasn't at the Trump Tower meeting", Giuliani said.

"Right now I'm telling him 'no way, '" he said, asking why Trump would testify in an investigation that has "no legitimacy".
