With Paul George seriously considering staying with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Lakers hope to land Leonard soon because James is hesitant to join L.A. without another star on the roster, according to ESPN.

"The Lakers, the franchise that Leonard wants to be traded to, did not have a good initial conversation with the Spurs, ESPN reported recently". The Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers have also reached out to the Spurs with trade proposals, per the report.

San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green has exercised the $10 million player option on his contract and will return to the team next season, league sources told ESPN.

What exactly would that offer be?

The event made it to the Guinness World Records with 35,985 participants of 84 nationalities performing asanas at one venue.

The Celtics could likely trump any trade offer for Leonard, with their vast collection of future first-round draft picks and a current roster littered with young and promising talent.

Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram have been featured most prominently in any suggested trade proposals with the Spurs. Many believe that they will join forces in Los Angeles, but there is a growing belief around the National Basketball Association that George might end up staying with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and if that does happen, could change James decision. A sign-and-trade with Julius Randle is a possibility. And ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Lakers, for the first time in a while, are willing to take on salary to absorb a first-round pick.

Last week, Chris Mannix of Yahoo Sports reported (via RealGM) that the Spurs aren't interested in Ball because of the "circus" that comes with the 20-year-old.

"The thing that would make me very excited is if LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard came to the Lakers". Even if San Antonio doesn't like those particular players, the overall value could be about right.
