Roseanne Barr Gets Roasted For Blaming Ambien For Her Racist Tweet

While Roseanne as we know it is officially dead and gone, it does seem as though ABC may consider finding another way in which for the series to move forward.

In case you haven't been following along, ABC canceled the revival of Roseanne after Roseanne's racist tweet about former Barack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Co-host Meghan McCain also jumped in to defend Goldberg, saying that while she fully defends "free speech" she acknowledges that corporations have the right to set acceptability guidelines. "While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication".

In one of her other deleted tweets, Barr said "I'm sorry 4 my tweet, AND I will also defend myself as well as talk to my followers.so, go away if u don't like it".

"Roseanne's Twitter assertion is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we now have determined to cancel her present", president of ABC Leisure Channing Dungey introduced in a press release Tuesday.

Oh, and if you were wondering whether those lovable pranksters at Dictionary.com got involved... of course they did.

She has a history of diving into political conspiracy theories on Twitter, and that's how she ended her Memorial Day weekend.

XFL makes splash in landing Andrew Luck's dad
The XFL's lone season happened in 2001, and was a project from NBC and the WWE. Oliver Luck will toe the XFL line as its new commissioner.

"As I called my manager to quit working on Roseanne, I was told it was canceled", Emma Kenney tweeted.

Tuesday, Dungey issued a statement to USA TODAY denouncing Barr's original tweet and announcing the network's decision not to move forward with the show, which had been approved for another season. Clinton herself corrected Barr online. In a response to a comment about Jarrett, Barr had said: "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj".

In addition to her remark about Jarrett, Barr is also being criticized over her recent attacks on both Chelsea Clinton and billionaire George Soros, who is a prominent donor to Democratic campaigns.

Goodman said if that's the case, "then you've heard more than I have".

A spokesman for Viacom, which owns various networks including Paramount, earlier said it would stop airing old episodes of Roseanne. "More Networks and "papers" should do the same with their Fake News!" "Unfortunate missed opportunity", one user wrote.

"I begged Ben Sherwood at ABC 2 let me apologize & make amends". "Hashtag NOT Winning. The runway is now clear for OUR reboot".
