Roseanne: 'I Begged Them Not To Cancel The Show'

Barr was sacked after she sent a series of racist tweets Tuesday about Valerie Jarrett, a former aide to President Barack Obama.

Jarrett revealed that Bob Iger, the head of ABC parent company Disney, telephoned her personally to tell her the network was cancelling the show.

ABC canceled the hit sitcom on Tuesday after the show's biggest star, Roseanne Barr, went on a racist Twitter rant. How is Brian Ross doing?

Ross, a former chief investigative reporter at ABC was suspended by the network in December 2017 after erroneously reporting, based on a single, unnamed source, that Trump had directed former Gen. Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian Federation during his campaign.

Ross corrected the report afterward, saying that Trump made the request when he was president-elect, not a candidate.

On his Twitter and Facebook accounts, Moore posted a video from Roseanne's late 1990s talk show, "The Roseanne Show", featuring both Moore and Trump.

"Gee, he never called President Donald J. Trump to apologise for the awful statements made and said about me on ABC. I've been up there 12 times already" - he actually has had 11 Emmy nominations, including seven from 1989 to 1995 for the original run of "Roseanne" - "and if I don't get one I'm not gonna get one".

Up until now, Goodman - who served as Barr's on-screen husband for more than a decade on Rosanne - has remained silent on her controversial tweet about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett. She attempted to do damage control by saying the sleeping pill, Ambien, caused her to post the offensive tweet. I believe in one love for all people.

On Wednesday (May 30), actor Tom Arnold continued his longstanding feud with ex-wife, Roseanne Barr, with an appearance on CNN. He said he "knew it would not end well".

"I ask God [to] help me use this bad experience [to] move in [to] a better place where I can be more useful to help suffering people who are homeless battered & hopeless in this world, everywhere", she wrote.

"I am exhausted of being smeared-over a stupid mistake erasing 30 yrs of activism", she wrote.

Barr apologized for the incident and said she would leave twitter, but returned Tuesday night with a series of tweets attacking co-stars Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman.
