The NES Classic Mini goes back on sale next month

Yep, nostalgia gaming fans, Nintendo is re-releasing its uber-popular NES Classic Edition. Nintendo retro consoles have been very good sellers, with the SNES Classic Edition even outselling the NES Classic Edition.

The NES Classic, released in November 2016, is a mini-version of the Nintendo Entertainment System, the video game console of some many people's childhoods. It comes preloaded with 30 retro Nintendo titles, including "Super Mario Bros.", "Castlevania", "Final Fantasy", and "The Legend of Zelda".

More importantly it's possible these hypothetical themed consoles may come with new accessories that I desperately need, like a NES Advantage, Zapper (not sure how it would work), or NES Max. Furthermore, the company revealed that both NES and SNES Classic Edition will be available through the end of 2018. Just don't confuse it with Nintendo's rumoured SNES Classic, the follow-up console.

The tiny, retro Nintendo console that was almost impossible to snag 18 months ago will return to store shelves this summer.

There will be no increase in the NES Classic Edition price for its return, as it will still be sold at $59.99. Many consumers were not able to obtain one before the system was discontinued, causing disappointment in Nintendo's ability to produce enough for demand.
