Tranquil weather this weekend with plenty of sunshine in the forecast for Kansas today. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31.

Slight chances for rain will remain in the forecast.

For Monday through Wednesday next week, the Lehigh Valley will see sunny skies and much warmer temperatures.

Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 66, the weather service said, and a northeast wind of 6 to 8 miles per hour. Breezy conditions at times will be out of the west around 10 to 15 miles per hour. Northwest wind 11 to 13 miles per hour.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 69. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. A high near 80 degrees and an overnight low around 64 are predicted. South winds will be increasing Sunday with gusts approaching 30-40 m.p.h.
